With pink and lilac buttercream swirls, sugar butterflies and pink edible glitter this christening cake couldn’t get more girly if it tried! We bake our delicious chocolate cupcakes in top quality cupcake cases to ensure the colour isn’t affected during the cooking process. As you can see here the cases stayed nice and pink and we added further interest to the cake with the use of some very pretty laser cut cupcake wrappers. The butterfly theme was carried through to the top tier with the addition of some larger butterflies and babies name was added in a decorative font.
The whole confection was topped off with an adorable hand modelled baby cake topper made from a special non-toxic modelling medium which is incredibly lightweight and durable. The babies dress, hair and eye colour and jewellery were all modelled from pictures and descriptions provided by the client making the model a truly personal memento of the christening day.
