This slender, elegant shape is acheived by using two cakes to make up each tier with a serious amount of engineering inside to ensure everything remains upright. This is quite a challenge for the decorator as it creates a shape that is difficult to cover and very tricky to transport! I hope you’ll agree that the results are worth the extra effort though.
