My secret recipe for a delicious hot cocoa cake in a mug. It's ready in minutes and perfect for satisfying those chocolate cravings on a cozy evening.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 pinch baking powder
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 tbsp vanilla extract

  • Step 1: Create the Chocolate Base
    In your mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Then, create a well in the center and add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined – a few lumps are okay!
  • Step 2: Add a Center for your cake
    Place a small spoonful of Nutella or your favorite chocolate hazelnut spread in the center of the batter. This will create a gooey, melted in the middle of your cake.
  • Step 3: Put the mixture in a microwave
    Carefully place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 60-90 seconds, or until the cake is set around the edges but still slightly soft in the center. Keep an eye on it, as cooking times can vary depending on your microwave's power.
  • Step 4: Decoration
    Let the cake cool for a minute or two, then top it with a dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkle of cocoa powder, or a few mini marshmallows. Grab a spoon and dig in, enjoying the warm, chocolatey cake with its gooey surprise center.
