  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 tbsp Milk (any kind)
  • 1 tbsp Melted butter or oil
  • 1/4 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Fresh strawberries, diced

  • Step 1: Infuse the Milk
    Instead of plain milk, warm it gently with a few slices of fresh ginger. Warm milk with ginger will add a subtle warmth and complexity to the cake that complements the strawberries beautifully. Let the milk cool slightly before using it in the batter.
  • Step 2: Combine Dry Ingredients
